I'll also add that if you and DD feel like it's working, then why stop? If shes crushing the ball like you said then shes obviously doing something right. We do over/underload training but also use different weight on bats for "feel". The pic is an example of a "feel" bat for DD1. I wouldn't let DD2 use it unless she felt comfortable with it. This is obviously a whole different topic but falls in the same category. Tools are great if used correctly.

I like it, simple and effective. We use and old short baseball bat that is heavy and works her arms out and makes her extend. I also use a bat that I attached a towel to that she will swing a little to warm up. The towel bat is more of a strength workout than a swing trainer.
