If you perform this drill with your hitters, then pay attention to proper functionality of the lead hand/arm. This is where I see folks going wrong with this drill. Improper use of the lead arm (left arm for a RH hitter) can easily lead to a lack of extension of the rear arm (right arm for a RH hitter). If your eye isn't trained to see this, then video your hitters performing the drill, slow the video down, and observe the action through to extension.
