Agree ... be a predator of the yellow ball.
FFS -- Are the mechanics involved in 'preparing' to swing part of the swing? In what ways would preparation be 'separate from' the swing itself? Where's the point of delineation and why? In your opinion, what's the difference between *abandoning* in the 'prepare to swing' phase vs. abandoning in the 'launch the swing' phase? TKS.
RichK ... I teach the 'preparation to swing' as part of the entire 'swing sequence'. To me the 'move out' isn't simply creating separation ... but is more about preparing the torso in the launching of the swing. The way I teach it the 'preparation to swing' is a big part of timing the ball in flight.

I am not overly curious about the Go! ..... the reality is that a 'decision' is made to 'go' ... and that during the 'move out' that one is preparing their body to support the 'decision' to 'go'. Keep in mind that the 'point of no return' is not 'go'.
