First thing I noticed is that they were playing at 'Nova. Even at full PAD best, Bonds couldn't hit it from the Main Line to the Oranges...LOL.
Oh, and looked foul to me but, no real good video and bad angle.

I think the pitch is off-speed and this girl is hyper and strong. She used the extra time to dance a little. She does what it takes to get er done. Pretty cool to watch. Would not show it to my DD!! LOL

Agree about whatever works..hence my title :p Not sure about her reacting to an off-speed pitch since she does the tap dance before the pitch is even released. She does it here too (another HR :D), not quite as much but still dances:

That is so weird. I wonder how long she has been doing this and if anybody ever tried to change her. It's like she running in place, getting ready. Kinda like some infielders do when preparing for the ball to be hit to them. Does anybody teach this? I wish I could watch it in slo-mo.

Nolan Arenado, one of the best hitters in baseball right now , does a similar motion, although not as pronounced. All part of loading, rhythm and timing. It is good to see that a batting coach has not tried to change her mechanics. I see too many coaches trying to force their idea of good mechanics onto players that are already very effective yet unorthodox.

Yeah I have seen Arenado do it on some swings with his back foot.
