We play rec ball. Iv noticed more and more comp.bats showing up. My daughter still
Swings aluminum bats. This year she went up on bat size. My buddy pulled out some bats
And he handed me a Louisville TPS platnum. Sounds about as sweet as they come.
You guys mis the ringing of the bats?

Every once and a while we will play a team that has someone still swinging aluminum......Love the sound of a solid hit on an aluminum bat :)

Love the sound when aluminum meets horsehide.

The sound of an LXT explosion is a close second.

I never liked the sound of aluminum bats. I think it's because it replaced the sound of wood, which I loved to hear. You can tell so much about the hit coming off a wood bat....

The crack of a wood bat gets my adrenaline goin !

Agreed. I can't stand the ping of alloy. I'm not a big fan of the crash of LS...or the thud of Demarini. Nothing sounds as good as wood.

Yep, going to the yard and hearing the crack of a MLB player hitting a baseball with a wood bat is the best.

I wasn't a fan of the LS explosion until DD started swinging one, now I love it.

Getting home from school, grabbing a snack and turning on the college WS and hearing the ping is a happy memory for me.

Love them all.
