You know I would have probably recommended a 1929 normally, but going from a 13" to in all reality a 12.25" glove, pretty sure she would have noticed, that's why I suggested the 1961 to start with.

Yeah, I figured that but....both of my DD's are now using the BV1929-L (one is a hybrid with an H web) when playing anywhere infield (Pitcher, SS and Third base primarily) and then they also use a RV1961-L in the OF. My Pitcher DD does not like using the bigger/linger fingered RV1961 when pitching or playing IF and I doubt the other DD who is primarily a Catcher but plays a lot of 3rd would want to use anything other than her BV1929 for IF duties.....Honestly, my advice (worth exactly what you paid) to the OP would be to try and convince his DD again to use a smaller glove when playing IF or pitching.

And, I'm pretty sure Drakemir will keep you well below that $250 mark!

Thanks guys.

She’s VERY picky when it comes to what she wants.

I bought her a Rawlings HOH 12.5” which I thought was PLENTY big, but she swears she can’t catch with it.

Mind you she’s not inexperienced or afraid of the ball. She just psychologically has it in her head she needs a giant glove.

She’s a hair over 5’3” with proportionally sized hands, but I just can’t get her away from 13”.
