LS Xeno & LXT dominate the players bags in this area. DeMarini and Easton are close together but both trail LS by quite a lot.

My daughter has just about every bat at her disposal and she will not swing DeMarini's. She swings a '16 LS Xeno Plus in most games. She'll use '16 Mako's on occasion in games but more in practices. She also, has '17 LXT's and Xeno's but doesn't feel they have the same pop as her '16 Xeno. She swung a '14 Rocketech the previous 2 years and still uses it occasionally. She actually loves the swing of the Rocketech but she's hitting homers with the '16 Xeno so, she's sticking with it for now as her game bat.

My kid loved her 32/22 Miken Freak Black, but is now in love with her 33/23 Demarini CF8. She refuses to even try an LS bat simply because of the way they sound.

As for what bat is "best"...

All of the top bats are excellent. The "best" bat is the one that your DD feels most comfortable and confident with.

DD loved her '15 mako 33" but now she won't put down her 16' LXT plus 34' -8. She will occasionally swing her CF8 insane in practice.

I'm a Easton guy but I have to admit the LXT plus has a higher exit velosity. DDs only complaint with the LXT is she can't feel if she made good contact. There is no feedback. Feels and sounds the same when she squares a ball up or hits off the end. Hitters who hate vibration may see this as a positive.

Bats in the stable:

CF4- 9
CF5-10
CF8 insane-10
Mako-10
Louisville -10 yellow catalyst
LXT plus -8
Rocketech -9

I know everything has changed since Xeno and Mako dominated the field. Now, I am going to buy for my DD a new bat and will appreciate all of your suggestions. Some brands release the new edition recently. This will really makes me confused!

So, any one can give me the list of top 10 fastpitch bats you WILL BUY or which bat is in your DD wishlist ? Thanks for you time!

Words of advice- take your DD and get her what she wants. If your DD is like mine, she won't care about how great everyone makes certain bats out to be. She's gonna like what she likes.

DD had a Mako that she used most of the season but started complaining about it...bought her a CF9 and she refuses to use it. She said she doesn't like the way it feels when she swings. I got a 31/21 balanced model, but she prefers a heavier feeling bat. She didn't care for the Mako too much, but she prefers it over the CF9. Her favorite bat is one that's too big for her, but she's 1000 times more confident swinging it and that makes a big difference. Her season is over at the end of next week so I gave up and decided to let her swing what she wants. It's all about her having fun, and since she hits better with it, her team isn't suffering from her -IMO- stubbornness.

FWIW - AC and I did a little demo test with all our team bats while they were conditioning the other night. 12 girls with 3-4 bats each in their bag - basically every mainstream FP on the marker. All in the 30/20 ish range. We hit bucket after bucket , rotating bats with 3/4 swings. Some line drives, some big flies, some mishits - all intentionally. Hitting on the field to get a true feel of distance etc. When we were done we both gave our choice at the same time - hands down, far and away the best bats were the CF8 and CF9 we hit. We both agreed they were significantly hotter than any other and had better distance on mishits etc. True test - of course not since we were just tossing them up - but both our kids are getting new CFs.......

DD has been a diehard LS fan swinging a Xeno and LXT Hyper. The past 2 weeks she has used a CF8 and the results have been remarkable. 5 of the biggest bombs she has ever hit in this period of time.

Like I said FWIW - but I can tell you that this guy right here is sold for now.....

L/S LXT Hyper is what my daughter currently uses and really likes. Probably about half of her teammates use that bat and really like it as well.

Update: found a new in wrapper CF8 cheap so we bought it - first tournament 9-11 1 triple, 6 doubles and 2 singles. And narrowly missed her first OTF dinger as it bounced on top and came back in. DD is 70lbs dripping wet with muddy boots on. These CF bats are hot - the ball was absolutely jumping off that bat this weekend. All the biggest hitters this weekend were swinging Demarini....at 10u. I can imagine the performance could differ with the bigger ball and more compression from speed at the older levels but I am 100% convinced that these are the bats for the 10u age.

Last year we bought a CF9 and a CF8 (as a cage beater).....She took the CF9 for a ride in a few games. Didn't think the ball jumped off the bat. Used the CF8 and hit a homerun. Haven't seen the CF9 since (sold it for the Ghost).

Others on the board think the CF8 has more pop as well.

That's interesting. DD's is a CF8 but she needs a bigger bat this fall. The org our team is moving to provides a bat in your team dues, either Demarini or Xeno. She's bound and determined to get a CF9. I hope it pops!
