Ok so DD is 14 and regular sized girl she is just long torso lol. Her Wilson ProMotion chest protector is actually short on her, not by much, but enough for me the not feel comfortable with her continuing to use. Anyone out there have to move to bigger gear and if so what do you recommend? We used Schutt for years and then moved to the Wilson gear which she loved but of course they quit making lol. Thanks in advance for any help.

Describe short. Shorter is far better than long and bunching up. I always wore mine with the bottom above my belt right around my belly button.

Just got DD Pro Motion chest protector on ebay. And there were several other sites with a good amount of Wilson gear. I think top of belt is where chest protector should end.

The chest protector should end just above/around the belly button. My DD is 5'10" and uses a 15" Schutte S3 chest protector. I'd be very surprised if your "regular sized" DD would need something larger.

My DD has the same chest protector that we got her when she was 12 (6 years ago). It comes to about 2 inches above her belly button when standing up, crouching to about an inch above (she is 5'8" and a big girl). I have asked her over the years if she wanted a different protector and she said that anything bigger "would get in my way", plus she likes the fact that it is an older style so it just has the straps in the back as opposed to the ones that you have to stick your head through the padding.
