    When I watched that video it brought back memories! DD was called out just like the girl in the video- DD foot had already landed on the ground passed 1st base when the throw arrived and the ump called her out. The call in the video was only slightly worse.

    There should be opportunities on varsity this year for the freshmen. Aim high!! The best 9-10 players in the program will likely start regardless of class. I give her credit for that. JV2 is awful! Shoot for varsity and settle for no less than JV1.

    Well, softball coaches do not typically make offers to "verballed" players, unlike football and basketball coaches. I suppose it could happen. However, etiquette suggests that you remain loyal to your commitment (though it would depend on a number of factors such as Greenmonsters pointed out).

    The football team won the Eastern division of the SEC two out of four years they have been in the SEC- I would say that was pretty good. This past year was a down year, but to say the football team is awful is plain wrong!
