    ok, so it's not the just the color of the laces, but its the material used that isn't the greatest? THe rest of the glove is structurally sound? I would hope the manufacturer is listening to these forums to make their product better. like you said it's only pennies more to make it better...

    that's a great point. i will have to check return policy where ever i purchase. unfortunately its hard to find these gloves locally. playing softball when i was younger was a lot easier. you bought whatever was at Walmart. lol!

    thank you for your replies. i think i might go with the BV1929L at first. Seems like a good utility glove. I sent Drakemir a PM. Maybe add the RV1961 at a later date, if she becomes really serious about playing outfield more. I don't mind paying more for a glove that will last her...

    Hello! My DD just turned 9 in May and after many years of playing soccer she has decided to try softball this fall. Our local store has the Champro and Rip-It face masks, but I can't seem to find any reviews on the Champro model. Anyone have one of these? Thanks in advance!
