Same Ump - Different Strike Zone
DD (10 YO) is one of the faster pitchers in our area. I've noticed over the past few tourneys that she's getting less called strikes than the opposing pitcher who is throwing slower. I'm sitting from the side and normally would assume that the ball missed left or right but the PU in some games...- LostinNJ

Pitchers playing down in the fall
In this past weekend's tourney, I noticed that there were several teams, including the finalists on my DD's age group (10U) with pitchers who were eligible in the fall for the age group but will not be eligible in the spring. Outfielders Missing Ball Through Their Legs
DD's team (10U) played up in a tourney this past weekend and several balls got hit through the infield just for our outfielders to bend at the waist and let them go through their legs giving the aggressive (and impressive!) runners additional bases.
