@julray posted a great example yesterday of Vladdy getting his barrel behind the ball. Illustrated the concept perfectly.
You also said it was a running start..
Care to comment?

FTR, I said Vladdy was getting in position to get "down to" or "direct to" and I illustrated that perfectly ;)

Then I am missing your point.

How one leverages the lead side impacts "down to"

Vladdy reading the pitch and un-tipping/presetting during forward move Running start, give or take a frame or two...

@ heel plant and in a leveraged position, "down to" and this is where barrel really starts to accelerate. TTB or getting the barrel behind the ball.

Here is the post I was referring too. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one here with a bad memory... I have imbedded some notes by your notes.

You must have bad short term memory as well because you forgot the remainder of the post, or was that something you didn't want to comment on? Also why did you use the TTB? ;)

Thanks for your help @TDS, the second still shot (the one that states "muscle contraction (forward swing) shows the barrel behind the ball. Excellent job.
Yes he did get the barrel behind the ball in space, but i would ask you how did he get it there? Did it get there as a byproduct of something else, or did he have a conscious effort to get it there?
