When someone makes the comment "stride with your rear leg", are you making the assumption that they don't think other muscles or body parts are involved?

It's a common phrase. It's a cue used by some people that talk about rear legged or one legged hitting. It is often over exaggerated by those that don't agree with it. Just like any other cue or phrase.

To me that is turning the barrel. If this is TTB... Is this un-turning the barrel? To me, it's both hitters using opposite methods(barrel tipping in different directions) to set direction and get to launch position. IMO, whether the barrel floats(in either direction) is style and timing...

FTR, I said Vladdy was getting in position to get "down to" or "direct to" and I illustrated that perfectly

Who said it was a power move? Many gurus and people on this site who teach/believe say you snap it, accelerate it from get go, generate bat speed immediately. Do you believe this is what JD is implying in his video?

@ heel plant and in a leveraged position, "down to" and this is where barrel really starts to accelerate. TTB or getting the barrel behind the ball.

You must have bad short term memory as well because you forgot the remainder of the post, or was that something you didn't want to comment on? Also why did you use the TTB?

Yes he did get the barrel behind the ball in space, but i would ask you how did he get it there? Did it get there as a byproduct of something else, or did he have a conscious effort to get it there?
