Another fun story:

Just as we were about to start a HS game one of the players told me to tell our catcher, who was just approaching the plate, that she was a thot. I asked her what was a thot? She said "just tell her". So I did. Our catcher literally fell to the ground laughing hysterically.

They wouldn't tell me what was so funny. They told me to look up thot in the urban dictionary.

I did get a little revenge when I told the player's mother I learned a new word from her daughter.

I got that message too, apparently saying that teams from California are all having to travel out of state because the governor of California hates children and fun is a no no and it got the Birmingham thread deleted

I know most in here are good people but the dismissiveness and blatant mockery in regards to how a young lady might feel regarding being called a word (whether you agree or not) is really disheartening.

But hey, I guess middle aged/older men have the complete right to tell young women (or all women) what they should/shouldn’t find offensive.

What else would you call a governor that is so much against kids going outside and playing that he has encouraged his brownshirts to put plastic K Rail barriers filled with water on the ball field diamonds and fill in skate parks with sand so he can weaponize the worry of a virus with a 99.998% survival rate and is killed by sunlight?

It's appropriate when the subject is teams from CA having to travel all over the country so our girls can play ball and the only reason we have to do so is because of the governor
