Just to be clear...I'm not advocating for any one instructor, and as I stated in that post wrt Antonelli, "I really like his presentations on the material". In fact, I remember when watching his "Turning vs Pushing" video for the first time, my first thought was, "Finally, someone who gets it, and can explain it". Then a month or so later he came out with the "Turning the Barrel", and it brought tears to my eyes hearing him talking about not going "down and to" the ball, but rather getting the barrel "behind and through" it instead...music to my ears. Thanks MB, not trying to discredit Tewks one bit, I did notice the date. Evolution is amazing. The first video is a great vid by Tewks, Antonelli's videos I find a little more fine tuned and better presented.
That said, upon rereading my post, I did make it sound as if I was speaking against Antonelli (and even Stone), when in fact I think they both do are real good job in getting the information across, regardless of when, how, or from whom they got it. The big thing is that young hitters be taught the right way, and from whoever or however they're able to get it is of little difference. IOWs it's the message, and not the messenger that matters IMO.
