Would you buy a used composite bat?

From a used sporting goods store. All I will have is the inspection. I think I will have 3 days to return used equipment, so I will check it out fast.

Be wary of products sold at the Big Box stores. They rarely have the top of the line bats. I would go to a mom and pop store first that focuses on baseball/softball.

I have a gently/hardly used CF6 32"-10 in the garage gathering dust. $75. DD used it in a few games until the LXT purchase. I had a real bad case of (GAS)Gear Acquisition Syndrome that year.

That is bat we got from JAD. DD loved that bat, if it fits your DD I would jump on this.

We have play it again sports here and I occasionally look at their bats. Like paintings you can find a great deal occasionally but mostly I find them overpriced.

Rarely do I find composites at Play It Again Sports. I lucked onto one two years ago, but nothing that suits my DDs since.

Knowing the size and weight of your DD's bat should be one of the things that you rattle off in your sleep. I can name off every brand, every size and weight of each bat my kid used since 8U. As they grow, it's a cat and mouse game of when to jump up in size and when to stay down.
