I'll add one more tidbit that might help this hitter. You keep focusing on the rear foot and what the foot looks like after the swing. I'd be focusing higher up on the rear side.I believe the front/back side is a sort of symbiotic relationship. I see players rear side has different style, from Pujols foot moving far forward to Thome staying a little more planted. The absolute seems to be the front side bracing. Learning absolutes can simplify things more than focusing on style and what not to do. IMO

And why a hitter wants to 'create the torsion spring connection between the rear leg and the scap'....that's not style but, an absolute. At least to me.
