For heavy balls, I prefer TCBs because they are a smaller target, and you don't have to chase them very far (16" balls like to roll). As with any heavy ball, keep the number of reps limited to minimize the chance of wrist injury.

Back before TCB balls came out we use to hit a partially deflated basketball if you want to do something on the cheap. We use beater bats when hitting TCBs or basketballs.

Yeah good point! Between the nets, the buckets of balls, bags and wagon I am going to need to get a trailer to put everything in lol.

There is a reason why I drive an Explorer. It holds all the gear. :)
