Just a "for what it's worth", Teacherman told us in the private forum that he isn't Marcus and he doesn't know who is.

Wow - the top girl crowds the plate so that everything is an inside pitch to her - outside is her weakness, but nice analysis - you really nailed that one...

And the other hitter hit over .400 with a ton of extra basehits - but her swing is not that powerful....

Anything else? You are certainly on a roll....

And nothing you can say at this point will upset me - your lack of understanding is a good diversion from not being able to get out of my driveway - please continue!!

Everyone here can see her swing. They can also see her premature wrist roll. And you can make up anything you want in stats. Hey HS coach, perhaps all the coaching is poor out there and your competition level is lacking?

Steve, in your opinion, is the pre-SnF swing better?

Well, I will tell you what I tell other people. Almost any reasonable coaching improves a players performance level. I think there are things which you teach, which are worthy. I just don't agree with one point you teach. And furthermore, I don't agree with guys like MTS who make stuff up and say this represents this and that, and don't have a clue. I think HS coaches should be going to more clinics and doing more learning! There are some dads here who do and will know a lot more than their DD's high school coaches. Like straigtlegs or SBfamily for example.

Steve,

I know you are getting hit with a lot of questions but can you please reply to this? Thanks

There are other at bats where Pujols uses more of a stride, and more of an exaggerated "toe-touch". There is nothing in that rear leg coil, or Fielder's rear leg coil, or upper body, core and shoulder coil, and bat wrap, that Chris or I don't understand or teach. Some have a squared approach like this Pujols swing. But I think that is fine and a minor issue. I teach most girls to swing like this in Europe, keeping it simple. But you are stretching it in some ways about Pujols coil, and our understanding. We just don't launch the bat as you and MTS say. And if we use coil, which I have promoted here repeatedly, and have never bashed your SnF drill, and if our bat path is very direct, then why is your swing which is longer, quicker? Sure if you place the tee deeper, the bat head will get there sooner.

Lastly, Teacherman is banned here for a reason. I personally have an opinion of him, not uncommon. But my opinion of him, or yours of me, should not be relevant here. My position is not to walk into a man's house and start throwing food at him! But then again, I am from Montana so what do I know about how to behave?

Can you please explain what you mean by long swing?

Also, when you say Chris, are you referring to Yeager or O'Leary?

When the tip of the bat travels in a wide arc before approaching the ball. In a connected position, the bat barrel stays near the shoulder, and until the hands pass the hip, the bat head is not committed. So the arc or the bat tip travels only around the back shoulder, is lined up generally behind the hands, then is whipped at the ball. On an inside or outside pitch, this distance in principle, is about the same. It is just released earlier like the SnF drill. However, I consider this a detriment for hitting inside pitches. As I have said many times, I do not consider this concept bad, completely! I consider it offers two good things, hitting deeper if applied correctly, and teaching coil. As I also said, I teach coil, but I don't teach all coil, to every girl. It is individual. Chris O'Leary. I only know a few people here by name. Chris O'Leary, SBfamily, and straightleg. I don't know any Booth or Yeager.

Pretty clear that Marcus is no stranger to DFP, but I think we can rule PC out.

Marcus' first post pn DFP was on the Critique thread, supporting MTS and redhotcoach. He never asked any questions, posted any comments, just started firing questions at me, some a little vague, repeatedly, rapid fire. It was obvious he has just created a membership since it listed "1" post at that time. I think he is Teacherman.
