I am not talking about you opinion verses my opinion.
I am saying working with students you can gauge what you believe and teach. You have feedback. Not just from one dd but many students.
What swing thoughts work, and which ones don't.
Homerun balls, ball flight, base hits, all are gauges on if what you are doing works.

I also have Howard and him putting over 100 kids in college as a gauge.
As of now I have 2

If you and pstein don't give lessons, how do you know what you are thinking works?

First off, I respect the fact that your stuff works. Great. To be perfectly clear, I don't currently give lessons. I am at college and busy enough as it is.

How do I know that what I'm thinking works? Because I swing a bat.

SL, This is the technical thread... The cues you are talking about need background thought.
Why did you decide to use that cue? Because Howard said it's a good cue? When do you use it? In what situations?
Take a deep breath and explain.....
FFS is a master of the flip flop with words.

The hips lead and you turn like bonds with your lower half then guess what happens.
Your sternum happens to be pointed at the ball.

When I say turn the corner, you feel the lower half go before release.

Bonds turns the corner before release. Thanks you for showing my point.;)

Thanks for the respect on what we teach...
I seen your swing at BBD. Do you care to post it here?

This is exactly what Bustos teaches. She wants the elbow to lead out front as you see here.

This is how she wants the arm to 'travel'.

You see that late out front wrist flick ... that is intentional ... she's actually teaching that ... she relates it to the elbow leading in the throw and a wrist snapping out front.

Does this look familiar now?

To the person who posted this above

The hitting instructor lives in Texas. On his site he posted students hitting homeruns, making high school and travel teams. He has many very successful hitters. He has worked with Howard before. He is a high level hitting instructor and also a friend of mine.

To the poster of this.
Quit being a hatter.
Embrace the success of Dana and myself.
Learn from it.
Cherish it
Come out of the rabbit hole and see the light.
Break the bonds of the computer screen and get out and find a student.;)
