The Bottom Hand Elbow?

I've seen different bottom hand elbow positioning in the set up, and in the initiation of the swing. I've seen coaches teach to have it just hang close to the body, I've seen some teach to have it up away from the body.

What is your view on the positioning of the front elbow and why?

What is your view on the positioning of the front elbow and why?

It depends on your stance style and how you load. The front elbow should be up at contact, therefore, if you have it down at load, you need to lift it as you swing. If you have it already up as you load the hands, then it should stay up.

Here's an example of up at load, and stay up;
