Sunglasses

I wear sunglasses when on the field 99% of the time, as well as 99% of the time that I'm outside. It's really bright around here. With my contacts in, things seem brighter to me. I will wear them occasionally to hit, but I have a hard time getting them on with my helmet.

I know a coach who used to forbid his players from wearing sunglasses because they got in the way. He thought they should wear hats/visors when on the field.

I wear eye black occasionally. I don't see what it has to do with helping the glare, it's more of a fashion statement.

I wear the black under my eyes - have a cross on one side and a line on the other. For me, it really helps to cut down the glare, especially because I won't wear a visor.
