Not a one leg or two leg debate (or swinging the foot down lol).

Curious to y’all’s thoughts? Can you achieve both? Anybody got some examples of fastpitch hitters that do both? Oklahoma hitters “seem” to have the more sudden approach. Float, float, explode. MLBers “seem” to have a get to your spot approach. Front foot down, weighted until go. Sierra Romero comes to mind for the MLB approach. Other fastpitch hitters that follow the MLB pattern?

Thoughts?

Float, float, explode. Front foot down, weighted until go. They are just about the same thing. Floaters have better timing. Front foot down, weighted until goers are usually bigger bodies that can get away without using momentum. I like floaters. It has a better look.

Floaters don't leverage all available resources at go time. It's a rear leg slip hip move.
