Chris, did you download the skill video throw and view frame-by-frame? She is close to the Inverted W upper body pattern with a poor lower half... less that ideal sequence. Tremendous stress on her elbow. And it starts way upstream from the Inverted W position.
And check out the head position of Jeter and the girl - Jeter's chin looks to be buried in his front shoulder.
Jeter's not making a high effort throw.

You've got to understand what you are seeing and how that can differ from a game effort throw.
This is pretty standard arm action for an infielder. Her timing isn't bad, so I'm really not that worried.
I prefer that throwers just firm up the front leg and don't lock out the front knee since that can cause knee and hip problems.
However, baseball pitchers like Sandy Koufax locked out their front knee to boost their hip rotation.
