I use the opposite approach. I tell everyone I'm 20 years older than I am. I really only look 10 years older thanks to my job, softball, and the U.S. Navy, so it works well for me and people are generally impressed with how well I've held up.

"Wow, I would have said at least 10 years younger than that."
