I have a 9 year old who has been pitching for about a year. We have been to a few pitching coaches, but they all teach h.e. I have been reading everything I can on this sight about IR and have been working with her myself her accuracy and speed has gotten a lot better using IR, but I'm just a bucket dad that only knows so much. Our problem is we live in east central Illinois and can't find an instructor that teaches IR. Does anyone know of a instructor and how to get a hold of them.

Why don't you get some video of the instructors pitching and post it here and we can help.

Hello elbow is just a follow through that happens after the pitch. It isn't good but it doesn't mean the pitcher isn't using internal rotation for good arm whip. What you need to look for here is not what the arm is doing, but the position of the hips and shoulders at release. It's the hip-slamming face-the-catcher stance you want to avoid. Hello elbow happens after the pitch.
