Wrong!! Guess again
Sorry, that this is off subject, but is this right?According to fastpitch.com an average pitcher in most parts of the U.S. would have pitching speeds somewhat like this for her age:
11-years old - High 30's to Mid 40's
12-years old - Low 40's to Upper 40's
13-years old - Mid 40's to Low-50's
14-years old - 50+
Average high school pitcher - 53-57 mph

Haven't clocked my dd in a few mos.(I don't have a radar and she only gets clocked a couple times a year, if that) She turns 12 Halloween and was throwing mid-upper 40s. After leaving a solid b team last year she was discouraged because she was their #3(#1 occasionally hit 50and was about 4 inches taller than dd) Trouble is, when her blood sugar is off she's about 5 mph slower.
Very good diagram. I would, however, argue that there should also be a slight bend in the arm at 12:00.
Sure!! Tomorrow I reveal the breed of the dog!!
