HS Ball Check in...How's it going?

485 hours left of high school ball!! But who's counting.

Glad it's over. Was rough...kid was hitting/pitching so very well in January/February...then hit a slump. And the HS coaches didn't really help all that much. After season ended, coaches had one on one private conferences with the girls. When they got to DD, they asked what she thought she did well. She said she had brought great attitude and positivity to the dugout (note...she got real familiar with the bench). She got teary eyed when talking, then they took over. They told her she was a great player, very athletic, and that they really liked her as a young lady. And even though it didn't seem like it at times, they had a lot of faith in her...and that she would be playing a lot more next year (Note: we have 8 seniors leaving now). They did point out that she did seem to let her mental get in the way of her performance.

Well since HS ball ended, she is back to TB, and she is pitching beautifully and hitting sweet ones (scrimmages but still...far cry from what we saw on HS field). She is determined to conquer that mental blockage she had...and she is determined to rip the HS fields next year.

DD is back and pitching her Senior year! (after being injured with back fracture Junior year).

Prayers have been answered and she is still ramping her game back to be full power by TB.
