So many of us have had this terrible disease take loved ones from us. I hope and pray that this will not be the case for your Father-in-Law. He sounds like a wonderful person. Our prayers from myself and my family are heading towards you and yours. Hopefully he can beat this thing and be around for many years to come.

I'm sorry to hear about your father in law. He sounds like a great guy and I'm sure your DD has benefited immensely from the time she has spent with him. Grandparent/grandkid relationships like this are priceless, very memorable and treasured forever. My thoughts are with your family.

A lady I work with had the same thing after surgery, chemo and time she is doing fine; it took about 2 years for her life to return to normal.
