DD Update: The Journey Continues

Last summer my DD, who is now a junior, made the decision that she wants to be a chiropractor and that playing softball in college is "optional". We are looking at DIII for her now and she will only play for the softball team if she "owns her own life". Smart decision! But I was looking forward to watching her play in college. Oh well, we'll see what happens.

The study/life/work/sports/etc. balance is a challenge for all our kids. It is fascinating for me to see how my 4 kids have all handled the situation differently.

But then, the most rewarding part of watching kids grow up is to see how they deal with situations. In some way the way you would, in others completely differently. We can just hope we help them to make good choices.
