You guys are relentless ) Ok yes there is a new glove coming out that is really nice. New type of leather, but the colors are not exciting me. But that could change in production? Seen the new Rawlings/Liberty Advanced 34" Catchers mitt? Anyways the new L/S gear is re-designed and should be a whole lot better than the previous lineup. Ok is that going to get me back in cahoots with you guys :0)

Looking at the Rawlings page (https://www.rawlingsgear.com/softball/gloves), it looks like they're taking it pretty seriously with a wide range of options. I'm very curious to check out the HOH gloves and mitts. The Liberty Advanced lineup looks like some very minor tweaks on the previous Worth-branded products.

I can't wait to check out the new LS gear, too.

Here's the new L/S Catchers glove LXT (Not bad?) And the new Wilson A2000 FP Catchers glove. Nice, but I will have to mortgage the house to get DD one :0(IMG_0638.jpgIMG_0639.jpg

I just received Bad news regarding the L/S catchers gear for 2017. It will remain the same as 2016 :0( Looks like the changes will be in 2018?

Eric F I really like the new Rawlings Liberty Advanced catchers mitt. Even though I'm a Wilson guy I may look that way depending on what my price is on the Wilson A2000?

That's a bummer about the LS gear, especially since Wilson is already killing off the current stuff.

The prices on the Wison and LS mitts can't possibly be real on-the-street prices.

Hope that's not. We were just looking at this years A2000 mitt, and it's $250 for the off the shelf, non-custom model.

That's disheartening. That means Wilson/LS will have a minimum one year gap without providing high-end catchers gear. That's how you lose market share. The LS gear is no comparison to the ProMotion gear....

The LXT mitt looks like the Xeno mitt with different lacing and embroidery. If the leather is the same I would spend the extra money and buy the A2000......even with the Super Skin.

I highly dought those are the street prices, but I could see $379 - $399. Maybe you will see a mid-year release on an improved L/S Catchers Gear lineup?

It looks like basically the same A2000 as last year with a white back and pocket and an open back instead of the finger hole. The A2000 is $249 without customization right now. Surely it wouldn't go up that much. The custom version this year is $349.
