Our only fundraiser this Spring is a raffle for an iPad mini (Grand Prize) and an Amazon Fire (Second Prize). We have 16 players selling 20 $10 tickets each. That's a total of $3,200. We are paying out about $400 for the prizes and raffle tickets. $2,800 profit...not including extras sold (prize drawing for girls that sell 30 or more for incentive)! I don't exactly like doing raffle tickets, but it's much more profitable than the $1,000 we usually make when we do a football/basketball pool!

We had our fundraiser at cici's pizza here in town. The girls and coaches bussed tables on a Sat night. It only cost for us was solo cups and a sharpie. We made about $600 in five hours. We received all the tips and 10% of all receipts put in our fundraising basket.

We found that restaurant nights worked really well with our rec league. Not so much for travel. The difference is that you have an entire league to support. In travel, we're at the mercy of just the single team and their parents. We tried once and basically only the parents came plus just a handful of other people.

LOLOLOLOL! Can't stop laughing! Pork Butt doesn't come from the Butt of a pig!!!!! Our team currently is selling raffle tickets for a .308 rifle....

We did really good on a raffle one year with a shotgun, TV and fishing reels. Big sellers!

Actually one of the easiest we ever did we cleared $3,000 in 4 hours hosting a golf tournament. The girls rode the golf carts around bringing out drinks, selling mulligans and driving the golfers around, and us adults brought all the food.
All together pretty easy and the girls had a blast.

We have found asking for sponsor to be very go to fundraiser. We wait for our major tournament and since out team is made up of 4 smallish cities our girls go out and ask for money in return we make shirts for the company and make a banner that we put on the dugout for all our tournaments and we send the sponsors a team picture saying thanks. Also sale the shirts to the parents and family members to help get the sponsors name out there as much as possible.
