That's gotta be one of the best videos I've seen posted on DFP!!! I love the reaction of the person taking the video!

Without looking at the other videos, the first thing I would say is to push out right to the target.

took multiple video from side back and front. still tring to improve posture. she has that lean to 3rd base that i just cant seem to be able to fix.

also we have a funny video of camera mom getting hit by pitch (last vid)

First thing that pops out at me in the side view of the first clip happens to be something of which I just got done working with my DD. With reference to Javasource's Drive Mechanics thread, have her focus on shifting her weight 100% back to the stride foot, then 100% forward to the drive foot with a slight bend at the waist (your DD is bending too much, IMHO) and a bend in the drive knee. It is an explosive reaction from back to front, and she needs to focus on "stepping" over something imaginary with her stride leg, and it needs to land on the power line with her foot at 45 degrees. It looks like her shoulders are tilting to her glove side at push off and she isn't quite getting back in line with the stride foot, which is causing some issues in her windmill direction. Have her focus on really getting the lower half exploding. It doesn't necessarily need to be a super-jump off the plate as far as distance is concerned, but it needs to be explosive in her legs, allowing her the ability to get fully open and on the power line at LFT. Good luck!

I think you should prepare to receive some very expensive papers from camera moms lawyer.....:)
Please don't tell her that this is the funniest video I have seen in ages......you are courageous to post it.

WaSpeed has some great suggestions.
My input would be to start back near the beginning......many young pitchers significantly compromise their mechanics when they throw from full distance.....and it appears this is the case with your DD.
IMO you should backward chain and do drills from close up. Board Member has some great ones in the I/R sticky. Here is one that would be useful from 15' then from 18' then from 21':

Do not be in a hurry to move back to full distance until she is competent at close distances with her mechanics.
These are some of the things I noted in a quick look at the videos:
1.Bowing vs leaning......see JavaSources sticky on Drive Mechanics
2. Glove wave/shoulder closing (never fully opening) early
3. Landing posture is vertical to slightly forward of vertical
4. No brush interference with forearm/thigh (note that upper torso is leaning toward third so that takes the arm away from the thigh)
5. Minimum hip rotation....see the video above to especially help this issue.

A recommendation is to not throw from full distance for 2-3 months or until her mechanics get significantly better. You can use full motion from 20 feet and I would guess that her mechanics would be significantly better.

Some really great suggestions... this is such a cool place.

I've never seen a shadow yell before! Softballs... is that you catching? Cat like reflexes... ;) This is up there with JJ's daughter breaking the window... Great share!

thank you rick for your insight. i asked for it, and i appreciate your honesty.

however, I cannot see for the life of me how telling a 10 year old that her best chance for long term development is to not pitch for the current season.
so, I guess she will have to work twice as hard to try and break her ingrained mechanics.
