Thanks for the feedback. This is what her PC says as well. (Look at me, I'm already learning the acronyms!)

I actually just spoke with her about it while we were practicing and she said she would. Now, it remains to be seen if she actually follows through with it but I think she bought in!

DD is sweetest player in the world. She absoullates hate hitting batters.

She has gotten over it.

She was almost in a fight once on SB field, team pushing and shoving knothing came of it.

I tell my 10U pitchers that the batter has 35 feet to get out of the way if they get hit it is the batters fault. At this age they need to get comfortable with the idea that they are going to hit a good number of batters and it is going to be ok. I started talking to my DD's about this early on so by the time they where throwing hard enough to hurt someone they where ok with the idea that it was just part of the game. I have had to help my DD's back to the dugout a couple times after being hit in the circle so they understand it works both ways. Good luck.

My DD is a pitcher but I don't want to be too callous. After all, Lainey Gaffin suffered a broken arm after being hit by a pitch on a slap attempt.

I remembered another thing we talked about, was how she felt when she got hit by a pitcher. Yes, it hurts to some degree depending on where you get hit. But she isn't ever mad at the pitcher who hit her, it's just part of the game. It's not on purpose and they know that as well as she does. I think turning it around like that helped her some too.

That was my dds mindset. It's part of the game. Every pitcher is going to hit batters and every batter gets hit.
