He's saying one thing and doing something else. What he says is pretty good. What he's doing. . . not so much. He's probably doing his best, but it isn't helping get his point across.
The guy has NO CLUE how he throws the ball..........Notice at 11:20 when he bends at the waist has to STOP using I/R or he'll throw in the ground............
If you ask me..the stuff he's talking about with the hand on the outside of the circle and the cocked wrist, hand over the top of the ball at 9:00 (arm toward 2B) isn't what he was doing in the first few minutes. He was leading with the elbow, hand under/on the side of the ball and rotating through release.
Do these people ever watch themselves throw a ball?
I got the impression he was holding back from throwing as hard / fast as he would be doing pitching in a game. Maybe slowing everything down was messing him up somewhat. Just seemed like he was not very comfortable in his motions. Maybe because he was having to talk way more than normal??
