So Cal
Whatever you are teaching her, make sure you understand it for yourself first. Not just the theory, but how it feels in your own body when you're swinging a bat.

I have every girl do a moderate amount of 45 degree stretch and a lot of happy gilmore drills. I see both being helpful to her.

I'll practice it myself today, so that I can explain it better. The examples given make perfect sense. Quick question. I went and looked at the model swings thread....why does some of the softball hitters technique in those gifs look different?

When Posters give 'suggestions' it's of the purpose of getting a HL swing. Thats what a hitter wants as a goal.

DON'T do much! I see a "diamond in the rough". Just work on keeping her hands tighter to her right shoulder longer. Keep her hands up above the ball and take the barrel to the ball.
Manny's hands are up and tight. At launch, the barrel….the sweet spot, of the bat is launched to the ball. The top of the bat is fasted moving part of the bat moving in a tight arch to the ball.

Your dd at launch, the knob of the bat or the bat by the length is being pulled to the ball. The top of her bat is not moving fast in an arch to the ball. If she kept her hands up tight like Manny, and had a goal or thought of her barrel or sweet spot beating her knob to the ball…..

Use both hands to snap the handle off the bat at swing initiation.

I agree right up to the first front 'knee cock'.
