    Glove Model Recomendation

I recently had my daughter try on many new gloves and she chose the Nokona Alpha glove. Extremely well made in Texas. I sent it off to the Glove Whisperer ( highly recommended ) and they had it game ready broke-in in three days without any heat, steam, or oil. Its an awesome glove that should...

What is the best glove for a small hand?

My Daughter is 14 and has short, fat fingers. She is a Utility player that plays both infield and outfield and is currently using a 12" Akadema glove. There are times when she has a hard time squeezing the glove to keep the ball from coming out and it is very well broken in. What is everyone's...

Best utility glove - size, brand & model?

Akadema AJB74 is a great glove in that price range.

    new glove

We like Akadema's. The AJB74 is a great infielders glove for the price. Our experience has been so good with Akadema that we recently had a Akadema custom fastpitch glove made based on the AJB74 type glove.

    Slapper bat size

I don't know why a slapper would use an end loaded bat. Most I know of use a balanced bat because bat control is extremely important. My 12 year old 5'1", 100 pounder uses a CF6 32 - 21OZ ( drop 11 ). Coverage is definitely an issue, that's why she uses a drop 11 to get that extra inch without...

    In-game discipline - push-ups

" What do folks think about the coach grabbing a players helmet cage to yell at them " You put your hands on my Daughter, in an aggressive manner, and I will put my hands on you!

    thoughts on setting batting order

Most good slappers can also hit away or power slap. I would love to see a defense like you describes against my DD who is an excellent power slapper. If the pitch was in the middle or to the inside of the plate you would likely see a drive to right field and more than likely an in the park...

    CF5 vs. CF6

My 12 year old is hitting better with CF6 than she did with the CF5. Both are good bats but I believe the CF6 is better.

Left-handed slap hitting for right-handed DD

I had several people suggest to me that my, then 10 year old Daughter, should try left handed slapping. I resisted for quite a while, thinking how hard it would be for me to hit left handed. She was in a terrible slump so I finally gave in and she took to it almost immediately. She hit over 500...
