Bat Wrap and other things
The sagital plane is a plane created by splitting the body in half with a right and a left section. A transverse plane would be a plane cutting the body into an upper and lower half. I agree with some of this. I have seen some very well respected coaches who teach very out dated and "wrong" skills technique. A well respected coach with a lot of international experience is still teaching "throw your hands at the ball" and "field, set your feet, and throw" for infielders...- DrPipes

Best bat?
Not sure I agree with that statement. LXT is stiffer in the handle with more solid feel like a traditional Easton bat. The Xenos are more flexible in the handle and more bounce off the barrel. Schools rescinding offers....

14 yr old swing
My daughter does something I see in your video. Her front foot opens too much with toes pointing at the pitcher. It opens the hips too much and results in teh front shoulder 'leaking' or 'opening' to much. This results in pop ups and hitting the ball of the end of the bat.- DrPipes

how would you handle this?
Move on. I've been at this for years and either: a) coach does not feel your daughter can compete or b) coach is a jerk and always wants the pitcher he doesn't have currently. Either way, it's time to move on because it is difficult to have a relationship with that coach from here on.- DrPipes
