Ok... took a bunch of video today... here's a horseshoe change-up at 960fps. Color-graded it in Premiere Pro and reduced the res to something a bit more youtube friendly... but it's pretty incredible nonetheless.

Special thanks to Miss H.... Highly recommend the Sony Rx100 iv... if you've the money... quite expensive:
Check it out in full screen..... pretty cool!

*Very Nice... love to see a full figure swing...inside & outside (all of feet to all of bat )

*Like to look over a very short native file...if you could dropbox it to me... ???

*Love to see a couple stills... head shot, and a landscape....on here... Would have to do some weddings & Senior Pics to pay for it....could be a great 2nd Camera for throwing in some clips...Vows...

Got that with my T1i... with one of those mini tri-pots, you could get the greatest clip of the moments without the imposition of a beastly set-up. Even hide it in the flowers... LOL Here's Why

*I use my (softball ) video camera lightly.... on a tri-pod to just get clips of... just everyone coming in & being seated & being lead out. Turns out to be the most viewed....and will be @ the 25th anniversary.

My old antique (softball) camera hard @ work... $ Priceless $...You don't have to tell DW it will do Pitching/Hitting analysis ....@ higher speeds :{))

*Lookz like the perfect size to inspire DD... she is finally realizing the iPhone is a waste of time for printing anything... although it is great stepping stone for learning composition. Could be a great transition from point & shot to the big daddy. I'm also looking @ Panasonic's offering of this class, gets down to the lens...

Just bought the rx100iv... with any luck I'll post a couple clips after clinic... this camera was expensive... but holy smokes... it's incredible...

Hoping you get the bug to document/study releases and spins. This camera would be perfect for looking at the effect of cues and grips on spin! Its a dream of mine to have 3-4 cameras like this set up to record:

-Release close up
-Trajectory from the side (Prolly any camera would work...)
-Spin/break from behind the catcher and/or pitcher

For me, a tool like this would be amazing; not only for my own learning, but to use with my kids. Sometimes, even if you show them the spin they're looking for, they don't quite see it or understand. I think reviewing video from a camera like this would be helpful to see the effect of spin axis and direction.

Looking forward to seeing how you use this camera!

My DS's third flight/recording with the Chroma. I think he did amazingly well!

neat. the drones i saw at a recent agm had double blades that counter rotated on each corner and could be programed to fly a pattern by gps. the application was to chase sea ducks away.

The more I learn, the more I realize there is to learn! It seemed so easy when we first started... An interesting frustration/realization is that my son only has a fraction of the flight time I have, but he's way ahead of me with this machine. Darn kids...

Ken.....That is just way too cool!

Very much agree! That was literally his third flight with this machine (with a tall fence on one side, goal posts on another and trying to keep from flying directly over anyone!) There were also distractions from every direction including the HS soccer team taking shots right behind him and me telling him what to do, where to fly and what to frame! Maybe there is some good to video games?

Java, since Sunday, we've been working on this pitch with some 1/2 and 3/4 circles and she really prefers it over the flip...far fewer floaters. Is this a "good example" of this pitch....just want to make sure I understand...I would say this is not a good example, based on what I interpreted.

The early pronation we talked about it specific to your daughter... as she whips the ball so well that it's harder for her to take speed off the pitch. The girl in this video appears to be releasing the ball in the slot... well okay she is... but that has more to do with her throwing shoulder... leaking energy forward. This is an extremely effective pitch for her but we are constantly working on keeping her shoulder back. You can see that she lifts the ball very well... and gets her fingertips forward.

I'll send you your high speed version this evening... perhaps you can share the link if she's cool with it... it's pretty good for a first attempt.
