Good points. Still not clear on this - What image do you believe this gives your team if one girl sports a hickey on a given day?

It's not as conspicuous as a hickey on an adult at the front desk of a store, IMO. But regardless, I'm curious as to what people believe the effect will be on the team and its image if a player has a hickey. Is there concern that parents will see it and not let their children try out for that team? is it a concern that a college coach will see it and think less of that player and her teammates? In short, what judgments are being made, and how prevalent do you believe those are?

It could be that because I don't form any judgments that I assume most people won't either, or that I'm not motivated to make changes for the sake of pleasing or or appeasing those people who would make judgments. IOW, I'm not concerned about what people think about that particular thing. But am open-minded to reasons why I should re-consider.
