I ordered my 8 DD a Worth FPX bat with the idea of her finishing this year with it and hopefully using it the next 2 seasons. I bought the 29/17 thinking it was reasonable that she could still use that size when she is 10. Anyway, it is 100% composite and after I ordered it, I started hearing the rumors about USSSA banning composites and/or allowing old composites through 2012 and requiring new bats to meet more restrictions that will be stamped with a 2012.
I've only seen one review on the FPX (not the 454). Has anyone used it? I'm wondering if I should return it and get a good aluminum to be safe. Thanks for any opinions you want to give.
