I seems that for ever one good coach you find 9 others that are not so good coaches. The job in Georgia pays about 5,000 for a HS or MS coach, some of the smaller schools some maybe completely volunteers. So you get what you pay!
The really good coach in our area the team was runner up for state about 4 years in a row and state champ and undefeated last year. The good coaches are successful year after year and the other coaches have a good season ever know and then. My daughters HS coach is a good lady, but coaching is not her strong suit.
At one college camp my daughters goes to they anounce all these coaches that are attending the camp, there many are state or region champs and one has won 7 state championships. Always learning and investing in yourself and the kids is how you get the great coaches.
