Using model swings in Kinovea

I would like to study some of the videos that are posted in the Model Swings thread (and elsewhere) using Kinovea. ...

Does anyone know how to do that? I think I would need to convert the files somehow.

No conversion needed for video... but can't do .gifs unless you capture them again while they are playing as a video.

I use a program called hypercam to capture the gifs. It saves as a video file and is then playable.

It can be done through Windows Movie Maker, I've discovered. I'm a kid in a toy store now.
