South Carolina Softball Head Coach Beverly Smith and the rest of the Gamecock coaching staff are offering several summer camp options for softball players looking to take their game to the next level.
Due to renovations at Beckham field, the Carolina Softball staff will be leading a four day camp at the Pine Grove Sports Complex. Join current Gamecock players, alumni and a host of current college players and coaches from Monday, June 20-Thursday June 23.
This camp is open to ages 10-18. Individual skill and position work will be taught during the morning session with games played in the afternoon session. This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game, through individual instruction, group instruction and game experience. Fundamental instruction will include hitting, throwing, fielding, base running and position specific skills.
Gamecock Softball will also be hosting four unique summer softball camp opportunities for all ages. South Carolina Head Coach Beverly Smith, and Assistant Coaches Janelle Breneman and Calvin Beamon will lead all sessions with other highly qualified coaches and host of current players. Beckham field is being redesigned and will be offline for the summer. All softball camps will be held INDOORS on campus of the University of South Carolina at the indoor turf field house. Each camp has been designed for the individual improvement of each camper. Several sessions are limited by number so that a 5:1 ratio can be maintained; maximizing personal instruction for the campers. Be sure to get your registration in early as space is limited.

Advanced Hitting July 7th & 8th (Ages 10-18 year olds)
The Next Level - Defense and Offense Camp July 11th & 12th (Ages 10-18 year olds)
Gamecock Fundamental Skills Camp July 13th & 14th (Ages 8-14 year olds)
