Congrats on the win! Too bad your family missed your awesome finish! When I miss one of my DD's big plays I love watching them re-tell me the story. Sometimes I think that is better than the real thing. You get to re-live that hit over and over for each person you tell. How exciting for you.

As a coach and mother of 2 players I will tell you the same thing I tell my DD's and team - It takes an entire to win and and entire team to lose. Even the best players have off days. Each game as a winner and loser on the scoreboard but the real winner is the team that learns from the game played.

The next day in a tournament I hit a triple with it. I went up to my dad and said "yea dad. you're right. It is too heavy. That shuld have been a home run" oh those fathers who think they always are right
