I want to get a Tripod to hold my smart coach pocket radar. The on on the Pocket Radar website is kind of pricey. I was wondering if any of y'all new a sturdy one that was a little more affordable?

how sturdy do you need it to be?

I bought an amazon basics tripod for like $15, that their tripod mounts ($!5 on their website), and you should be good to go. the amazon basicas tripod was pretty light weight aluminum, has held up for me couple of years now, used couple of times a month.

These are the 2 I have bought. I use the bottom one the most at the fields for both video and have also mounted the Pocket Radar to it as well. It isn’t as tall but for PR that is ok. I like the top tripod for use with the Blast Vision. It seems to have a taller reference point. That one is also more heavy duty for sure. It does double duty at games taking pics as well as holding DH’s bird watching monocular . He’s a tall dude.
