So, DD is 7, playing her first year in 8U. She's naturally talented - 2nd youngest on the team, and our 2nd best player. That's not the purpose of this post, though.
After our game last night, she asks to have my phone. She like youtube kids and usually watches crap like surprise-eggs or hobby-kids, etc.
I actually didn't hear any annoying sounds coming from the phone, so after a few minutes, I go to check on what she's watching....
HS Softball highlights! She then makes a couple statements about what the girls are doing, how they're doing it, and what she wants to try....
Also, on Saturday morning, my son strolls into our room at 7:00 am. Dad, where's CC (sister). I can hear the downstairs TV, so I pick him up and head down to let him watch cartoons with his sister....only she's not watching cartoons, she's watching Quick-Pitch on the MLB channel (WHAT???). She goes on to tell me how the Cardinals (my favorite team) won their game, etc.
I think she's been bit by the baseball/softball bug!!!
It's the little things that make a Dad/coach happy!
