It's funny, I heard about this a while ago and I googled where Seoul is to the DMZ.... its not that far. Kinda scary!!!

I met the Korean coaches in 2004 when I was in Manila working with the Philippines. I'm sure the coaches have changed now but many of their softball coaching comes from EX Military guys who make Korea home after their service. I have no idea if they know a lot about softball but that is what one of the coaches told me: about most of their coaches being exmilitary living there.
