Texas Glory Adkins 14U Wood
Due to injuries TGA 14U Wood is in search of a couple of ladies to fill positions of strong bracket pitcher and an ace outfield/utility player. Some travel ball experience is desired, and we are looking for '00's mainly. If your daughter is extremely athletic maybe an '01as the team will move to 16U in the fall. Players and parents must be dedicated and willing to travel and play at a high level with the goal of securing college positions. The team's overall goal is to qualify for the ASA nationals in Salem VA this year. We are registered and playing in USSSA, PGF, and ASA tournaments. This month we have Battle for DFW championship, PGF Qualifier in McKinney, and the OKC Ntl. Qualifier. Schedule stays busy through August, and the team will compete in college showcase tournaments in the Fall. Team is located in the North portion of DFW metroplex, and we practice in Denton, Flower Mound, and Prosper, depending on the girls schedules 2-3 times weekly, at least one weekend day when not playing, and weekday evenings if we do.
The team does have a sponsor so there is only a monthly fee, and any travel expenses for parents, which we supplement with fund raising, and community volunteer work from time to time.
Player Needs:
Preference is for a strong bracket pitcher with good repertoire of pitches and excellent command, and speed. Highly desirable if she is able to play other positions when not pitching well.
The outfielder/utility will have good speed and great glove, and strong bat.
