"Ideally, for maximum power and efficiency" a right handed thrower is better batting right handed and a lefty batting left handed. Comments? Logic? Examples?

I would agree with this, with the logic being that the muscles of the core will be optimized for rotating the torso in that direction.

IMO, it has little to nothing to do with relative arm strength.
