Just looking for some experiences with joining two teams together.

How'd it go?
Is it worth the growing pains to skip out on looking for players?

Just for reference.... 2 B teams taking the best half of both to play a more competitive schedule.

Questions,
Do each team's players intending to keep play the same positions or different positions?

Will there be a combining of coaches from each team or one set of coaches taking over the other half...

It would be a fairly seamless transition as far as positions. One team will bring 2 P, 2 MI/OF, 1 Corner, 1 OF.... the other 1 P, 2 catchers, 1 corner, 1 MI/OF, 1 OF

The coaching staff will combine as well. Each will be bring HC and 1 AC per

I mean the team might be better but if the 3 pitchers are still B pitchers it won't be that much better..

Each team has 1 A pitcher. That's why we were both B level teams, couldn't make it very deep on Sundays

Ok well it might be ok...or half the girls might hate each other's guts and 1/4 of the parents will swap spouses and it will be a mess...no way of telling

If the parents all know each other already, they would then sort of have a heads up of what they're going to be
'softball cohabitating with'.
That would be a bonus,
otherwise here comes the social learning curve...aka: the fun adventure of team sports.

Both team has an A pitcher...hmmm
that will be tested on the new team if they actually have two...
Because usually who starts specific games dictates role of who is actually the A.
That doesn't always happen but just a probability it might
